Coronavirus: confirmed cases up 16 per cent in Doncaster

There have been six new confirmed cases since yesterday (28 March).
Public Health England released the latest figure as part of their daily update on the number of cases in each area.

Hide AdA PHE spokesperson said the actual number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus is likely to be “much higher” than official figures show in every area as only hospital patients and NHS staff are currently being tested for the virus. The majority of people showing symptoms are asked to self-isolate at home and will not be tested.
As of 9am today (29 March), 19,522 people in the UK have tested positive for coronavirus.
As of 5pm yesterday (28 March), 1,228 patients in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus have died.
