Raising vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society
More than 200 people packed into Haxey Memorial Hall to help raise more than £3,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Co-organiser of the event, Gill Snow, said the coffee morning and fun day, now in its third year, was getting bigger and better each time.
She said: “It was a brilliant day. We raised a fantastic £2,800 on the day, with more cash still to come in, and a lady called Nicola Moore, also raised a fantastic £1,300 with a head shave.”

This event, which included tombola, raffle, various stalls and much more, gets bigger and bigger each year. Last time about £2,000 was raised, in its first year £1,700 and this year more than £3,000.
“I have a brilliant circle of friends who once again worked their socks off for this.”
