it was a case of no likey no lighty for a Doncaster singleton who took to TV show Take Me Out in a bid to find love.
Scrapyard assistant Aimeelea Severn, 24, enlisted the help of modern day cupid Paddy McGuiness on the ITV show that is currently being shown on Saturday.
Aimeelea who has been single for the past three years said: “I didn’t know anything about it and then I got a call saying I had got through to the audition stage, I was like what? My mum and my sister had filled it out and sent it without me knowing.
“I was definitely up for going on and I had a great time on the show, Paddy McGuiness is so down to earth. I didn’t end up getting a date but the experience was great.
“The lads at work have all been saying I’ll take you out since I was in the show but I’ve not taken any of them up on the offer, I think I’m too picky.
“My ideal man would be an Essex type lad who was tall, dark with blue eyes and had good banter and liked cats because I’ve got four.”
