Ocean Colour Scene and support acts have announced a second date due to popular demand.

Leeds Millennium Square hosts the July 23 and 24 gigs, celebrating 20th anniversary of the band's landmark Moseley Shoals album.

Shed Seven and The Bluetones offer sterling support at the massive outdoor summer shows with more guitar groups set to be added.

The Birmingham band will perform the album in full on both days at an open-air venue that has staged Snow Patrol, The Specials and Embrace as well as local lads made good Chiefs.

Crash Records' Ian De-Whytell said: “It’s a really well put together line-up which will get a lot of people very excited.

“Moseley Shoals is a classic album and it will be good to hear it played live in full.

"Shed Seven and The Bluetones are guaranteed to get the crowd going before that.

"It should be a great day in Millennium Square.”

Moseley Shoals spawned hit singles The Riverboat Song and The Day We Caught The Train.

Birmingham, London and Glasgow shows sold out within seconds.

Yorkshire's finest Shed Seven’s top tracks include Chasing Rainbows and Going For Gold while The Bluetones’ back catalogue boasts top tunes such as Slight Return and Bluetonic.

Leeds tickets are available from Lunatickets.co.uk, Carriageworks city centre box office, Crash and Jumbo record stores.

“It’s a really well put together line-up which will get a lot of people very excited,” added Ian.
