The Turnpike in Bawtry introduces two fantastic acts to the stage on Thursday, August 21 and on Sunday, August 24.
Host, Steve Womack, welcomes the talented Dan Burnett on August 21 to the High Street venue from 7.30pm and hails him as a great pianist.
Dan is from Harrogate and Steve said: “He is one of the country’s finest boogie woogie piano players and a great singer and songwriter as well. In fact, people often now refer to Jools Holland as London’s answer to Dan Burnett. He’s that inspirational.”
Sunday, August 24, welcomes Thirteen Women and Steve said: “They are actually four blokes! Skiffle is back with a vengeance so if you love the likes of Lonnie Donnegan, The Sharp Cuts, early Beatles and all bass slapping rock ‘n’ roll, you’ll love these guys.”
