Classic rock is on offer at a thriving society’s latest show.

The Classic Rock Society was formed in Rotherham in 1991 and has a long history of putting on shows in Maltby, Rotherham, and further afield.

Its latest show takes place on Saturday, September 12, headlined by Italian band Barock Project, featuring classical pianist and composer Lucca Zabbini.

Also on the bill are Franck Carducci, with his Genesis rock show, and Britain’s newest prog partnership Ghost Community, who include members from The Reasoning, Also Eden and Godsticks.

A spokesman for Franck’s show said: “Let yourself go, on a journey in an enchanting and eerie musical universe – a place where dreams are kings and emotions are queens.”

The show will take place on Saturday, at The Wesley Centre, Maltby, and doors open at 7pm.

Tickets are £10 in advance, from www.classicrocksociety.co.uk, or £14 on the door.
