A spokesman for the group said: “In this wickedly amusing play, Harriet maintains her extravagant lifestyle by entertaining two gentlemen friends who must never meet. But her best laid plans are ruined when one of them has an accident and has to stay. Chaos ensues!

“Harriet’s friend Anne adds to her problems. Two angry wives and Anne’s drunken husband make the situation even worse, but resourceful Harriet manages to lie her way through to a satisfactory conclusion.”

The experienced cast includes Joan Young as Harriet, Jeremy Cooper as Gordon, John Spittlehouse plays Alec, Carol Hoar is Anne, Nigel Smith as Richard, Diane Corbett, Magda and Ilene Pearson plays Mildred. Lenny Lowe makes his debut as producer.

The production takes place on March 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 in Haxey Memorial Hall.
