Lucky residents of West Stockwith enjoyed fun in the sun on Saturday when they attended the local village annual summer fete.
Around 100 people enjoyed the summer activities and helped to raise more than £800, which was divided between the village Parish Church and village hall.
Residents and visitors enjoyed the range of stalls, including a cake sale, bric-a-brac, plants, tombola, hot food, ice cream, and drinks – in brilliant sunshine. There were games for children and a fancy dress competition was won by Seth Swindin. Organisers thanked all who helped with the event and those who turned up on the day.
