Fancy dress mayhem and hilarity is promised when a host of pubs and bars in Doncaster open their doors for a mass fundraising party on Saturday, July 26.
The mass fancy dress bash is organised by Pubwatch with help from Gary Smith, of The Priory and Social bars, who said people can raise vital funds for a charity of their choice at the same time as having a good time.
He said he was hoping that as many people as possible would participate to make the huge fancy dress event the “most memorable night in Doncaster ever”.
He added: “I urge people to join hundreds of revellers to make this night absolutely massive. Hen parties, stag parties, birthday bashes and all other groups are encouraged to take part.
“Apart from being the biggest fancy dress do Doncaster and even Yorkshire has ever seen, there will be prizes in every participating venue for the best dressed male and female.”
He added: “This is also a great opportunity to raise money for the charity of your choice. Why not get the whole office to dress up in pyjamas and hit the town and run a corporate fundraiser. Look on Facebook for Doncaster’s Biggest Fancy Dress Party for further details on how to participate or get in touch with any of the bars taking part.”
He said he would like to hear about anything that people were doing, along with the Doncaster Free Press, and urged people to spread the word.
He said: “Please take part and help to raise some much needed cash.” Participating venues include Social, Reunions, Mint, Jacques, Manana Manana, The Priory, Rock-a-hula Tiki Bar, Yorkshire Grey, Goose, Bar Home, Flares, Boogie Bar, The Old Angel, Shooters and Biscuit Billy’s. Other bars include Mambo, Che Bar, Coco, Hogans, Graffiti, VDKA, The Courtyard, The Woolpack, The Red Lion, The Gatehouse, The Pad, Walkabout and White Swan.
