Courtyard landlord Chris Harland is bringing all the fun of his favourite frightening festival to Doncaster’s Marketplace.

“I think Hallowe’ens the best event of the year,” he said. “It’s great for adults as well as kids – how often do you get a chance to dress up and have a laugh once you’re grown up?”

And to help its customers have a truly chilling time, the pub has organised three days of fearsome fun for next week.

It kicks off on Thursday with Scary-oke, in which spooky singers can try their hands at horror hits including Monster Nash, Bat Out of Hell and Ghostbusters and many more.

On Friday there’s a low key celebration with monstrous mood music and their frightfully GOOD food offer – two pieces of flesh (two 8oz rump meals, unless you’re undead) and a bottle of wine for just £14.99 and on Saturday there’s a Hallowe’en disco on Saturday,

“I hope to see a few zombies on the dancefloor!” Chris said.
