One of Doncaster’s newest beer festivals is about to stage the debut of the town’s newest brewery!

Caskfest, which takes place at Cask Corner, Cleveland Street on September 6 and 7, will introduce the town’s tipplers to the first beers from the Latitude Brewery, a venture set up by local libation lover Kevin Bagshaw.

As well as the first beers from Latitude, the fest will feature 18 of Yorkshire’s finest ales.

Manager Marc Jones said: “Kevin is a real ale fan and ken home brewer who is taking the next step up in beer production and we’re delighted to be the first pub to sell his excellent ales.”

Kevin is currently looking for brewery premises in Doncaster, and in the meantime produces his top tipples at Barnsley’s Two Roses brewery.

As well as the best beers available Caskfest features live music from Falling Trees, the Tim Green Band, the Beast, Ros Webley, James Holder and James Taplin.
