Hundreds of refuse collection staff from Sita UK are gearing up for a 2,400 mile UK cycle tour to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Friday – day 11 of the route – from Aberdeen to Cornwall, cyclists (including those pictured) travelled 14km from Doncaster to Denaby Main via Sprotborough, Warmsworth and Conisbrough.

Organised by national recycling and waste management company SITA UK, it will finish on June 20 and aims to raise £50,000.
