Aspiring young dancers amazed the audience with a display of street dancing, and musical theatre when Conisbrough’s Street vibes Dance Studio held its annual show.

More then 90 young performers busted some great moves and belted out the classics at the Dearne Playhouse Theatre.

Dance teacher Emma Alderson said: “They were all fantastic and it was the best show yet.

“We have had a load of comments on Facebook they are just amazed at how good they were. They performed really well.

“They all put a phenomenal amount of hard work in, giving up their free time to practise three or four days a week.”

As well as street dancing, the youngsters aged 5-19 performed songs from Matilda, Chicago and Annie.

Two of the teams, Premonition and Collision, recently auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent at the Manchester Convention Centre and were voted into the second round of the show.

Emma, said: ”We are just waiting for a call from them - everyone is really excited. They had a fantastic day - a lot of the other performers there didn’t get through.”

Classes of dancing, gymnastics and musical theatre run from Monday to Saturday , excluding Fridays at the Street Vibes Studio on Old Road. Contact Emma on 07703183312.
