As the world of fashion flocks to London, the team at one designer boutique in Bawtry is putting the finishing touches to its own annual charity fashion show.

The show, which will be held on Sunday, October 5, will be hosted by Robinsons of Bawtry and is once again a sell-out event. More than 200 guests are set to enjoy the evening at China Rose Cantonese restaurant in Bawtry.

“This year’s event promises to be just as spectacular as before with a fantastic fashion show showcasing our autumn-winter collection for 2014, plus a very special preview of the Versus Versace spring-summer 2015 collection,” said Robinsons director Russell Jones. “There will also be entertainment from The Soul Legends Show and some very desirable auction and raffle prizes.

“We have raised over £250,000 to date in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and are looking forward to extending our support this year.”

Robinsons are set to welcome to the show for the first time the chief executive of Yorkshire Cancer Research, Charles Rowett and his wife Sue, along with representatives from brands Moschino, Jacob Cohen, Versace and Armani Jeans.

“Over the last two years we have been able to support PhD student James Hackland in his research programme and that has been because of the generosity of our fashion show guests,” added Russell.

“We are planning another fantastic evening this year – one to go down in the Robinsons history books again.”
