One Direction fans from across the country and beyond have started arriving in Doncaster for Louis Tomlinson’s Doncaster Rovers debut.
More than a hundred fans were already outside the Keepmoat Stadium at noon - a full seven hours ahead of kick-off.
Hundreds more are expected to pour into town in the build-up to kick off for the star’s fund-raising charity match against Rotherham United at 7pm.
Female fans waited patiently behind crowd control barriers brought in to keep eager fans desperate to catch a glimpse of the boy band star at bay.
Many were clutching special souvenir programmes produced for tonight’s game while others sported Doncaster Rovers shirts with Tomlinson 28 - the star’s squad number - on the back.
Tickets for tonight’s game, which is expected to attract more than 4,000 fans, are still available from the box office.
