Two-point gap opens up for Westwoodside
WESTWOODSIDE became league leaders for the first time this season following their 12-8 billiards win over West Butterwick.
The new table-toppers are two points clear of West Butterwick B in second.
Owston Ferry A had a convincing home win, beating Scunthorpe 17-5 as its B team also defeated stablemates Owston Ferry C 14-11.
Bottom of the league Epworth A could only raise a five-man team this week but a determined performance saw them beat Beckingham 12-11. Misterton B lost to Epworth B 12-9.
