MEXBOROUGH Rovers drew 2-2 with Babworth Rovers in the only Doncaster & District Junior Sunday Football league game that survived the weather at the weekend.

Blake May and Josh Stead netted for the hosts but Daniel Levy’s strike and an own goal ensured the points were shared in the Under 14 clash.

The point was not enough to lift First Division bottom club Mexborough off the basement.

n Sunday League Supplement, our new eight-page DDJSL monthly round-up, returns on March 1.

n Elsewhere all local football, rugby and hockey was wiped out as the cold snap continued.

Doncaster Rovers are scheduled to face Blackpool tomorrow night after a fortnight without a game, while Doncaster Knights will be keeping their fingers crossed that conditions improve ahead of their Sky Sports televised clash at home to rivals Rotherham Titans on Saturday (12.05pm).
