KNIGHTS boss Brett Davey has been forced to name himself on the bench for Saturday’s tricky trip to London Scottish.
Injury-ravaged Doncaster will again be without Alex Brown and PJ Gidlow, while fly half Tom Luke remains sidelined with a shoulder problem.
Veteran player coach Glen Kenworthy and prop Andy Brown also miss out, along with long term absentees Lee Audis, Adam Kettle and Mike Whitehead.
Full back David McIlwaine will again start at ten in the absence of Luke, with Dougie Flockhart continuing at full back.
Davey, who has made one British & Irish Cup performance this season, is named on the bench, alongside winger Michael Bateman who has returned from a successful loan spell with Hull Ionians.
Knights won 37-29 against Scottish at Castle Park in October and hope to return to winning ways after a narrow defeat at Moseley on Saturday.
Seventh placed Doncaster are currently one place above Scottish in the table and hope to put more distance between themselves and the Championship’s bottom four with victory at the Richmonad Athletic Ground.
