Yorkshire One leaders Doncaster Phoenix maintained their one hundred per cent winning record by securing their ninth straight victory on Saturday, writes Frazer Snowdon.
Phoenix scored a bonus-winning four tries on their way to a 30-10 home victory over Yarnbury.
The Leeds side were previously in third position but have now slipped off the pace.
Phoenix took the lead when fly half Jono Storey raced in for a try which full back Craig Deakin converted.
Yarnbury immediately equalised with their own converted try.
But the Castle Park club went clear when winger Josh Fowler sprinted over between the posts to give Deakin an easy task with the conversion.
Yarnbury pulled back a penalty but that was as much as they could muster and Phoenix turned round 14-10 ahead after two Deakin penalties.
The visitors defended well for 20 minutes of the second half but the Phoenix pressure was eventually rewarded when centre Tom Battye sprinted over for a try in the 60th minute.
Then, with two minutes of normal time remaining, Battye raced over again in the corner to earn Phoenix a four-try bonus point.
Phoenix are eight points clear at the top of the table.
