Castle Park will welcome a former Doncaster Knights favourite when high-flying London Scottish travel north for tomorrow’s Championship clash.
Strong-running centre PJ Gidlow has been in fine form for Scottish and is one of the players singled out by Knights boss Clive Griffths this week.
“I went to watch them recently at Moseley, who beat them 16-9 to claim their first league win,” said the Welshman.
“They were strangled in the same way as were against Moseley last weekend.
“They’ll come to try and bully us. They’ll look at how Moseley beat us and think that is the way to beat Doncaster.
“They’ll try and dominate territory and look to the likes of PJ and No 8 Mark Bright because they are the guys who help give them their go-forward.
“They are both huge players for them. PJ is well-known to everybody here at Doncaster, while Bright is having the season of his life.
“We know it is going to be hard and there is a bit of a dark cloud hanging over the club at the moment having lost our last three league games.
“Having said that I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that we can beat them.
“I know they are going well but they are human and make mistakes under pressure and we’ve jot to try and capitalise.
“We want to put on a better show for our supporters.”
