BRETT Davey has largely kept the faith with the side that earned the Knights a first positive result of the season as he prepares for the trip to Leeds Carnegie tonight (8pm).

Director of rugby Davey was pleased with the performance in the 18-18 draw with Cornish Pirates and this is reflected in his line up for tonight’s contest.

The clash at Headingley has been deemed the first of a round robin tournament between the Championship’s Yorkshire sides for the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy.

Dante Mama will keep his place at full back after his man of the match showing while Chris Planchant has been handed a second successive start following his try last week.

The only change in the back line sees Louis Silver replace Chris Hallam.

Jethro Rawling will return to the starting line up along with Dom Parsons who replace Phil Hoy and David Bradford respectively.

Fred Burdon is set for his first reunion with the Knights after leaving for Leeds in the summer.

The centre impressed greatly at Castle Park last season and will start tonight against his former club.

Carnegie will be without injured duo David Doherty and Josh Griffin who will be replaced by Jamel Chisholm and Christian Georgiou.

The Knights have joined forces with Carnegie as well as Rotherham Titans to form the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy competition.

The six Championship ties between the three will also count towards a mini league with the winner receiving the trophy.
