Clive Griffiths got his wish for more clinical finishing as Knights ran in nine tries to record their biggest win of the season.
Leading try scorer Mat Clark scored a first half hat trick, taking his season’s tally to nine.
Shaun Jones, Brad Field, Bevon Armitage, Ben Hunter, Paul Jarvis and Matt Challinor all got on the trysheet as struggling Tynedale had no answer to Doncaster’s pace and power.
Knights’ comfortable win was the perfect response to their first defeat of the season at Henley Hawks the previous Saturday.
The only blemish on an otherwise satisfying afternoon was a red card for Dougie Flockhart on his 100th appearance for Doncaster, which could lead to a suspension for the Scot.
Knights were on the front foot from the outset and took just eight minutes to break the deadlock when Jones touched down following a maul in the corner.
Flockhart added the extras and went on to add four more conversions before seeing red for an alleged punch after the turnaround.
A Craig Willis penalty, awarded for offside, briefly kept the Northumberland outfit on Knights’ coattails but the visitors’ early enthusiasm ebbed away as the rampant home side proved to be too strong and clever.
Field broke from a scrum to add try number two before Glen Bryce surged from half way to send Armitage clear beneath the posts.
On the half hour Clark bulldozered his way through a shell-shocked Tynedale back line and ran clear from half way to secure the four-try bonus point. Minutes later Clark was in the right place at the right time to collect an Armitage offload and score.
And the former Leeds centre again broke brilliantly from midfield to complete his hat-trick in first half stoppage time.
As the heavens opened there was a lengthy stoppage in play at the start of the second period due to a serious injury to Tynedale’s Nick Cairns, who was carried off.
The weather did little to help the flow of the game, but Knights extended their lead on the hour from a neat line out move as Hunter crossed following good work from Jones.
Speedy winger Jarvis latched onto a grubber kick from Jamie Lennard for try No 8, before skipper Challinor got in on the act in the last minute of normal time.
Knights: Bryce, Jarvis, Clark (Lennard 41), Armitage, Flockhart, Roberts, Field (Bravo 72), Morris (Bergmanas 60), Hunter (Santamaria 68), Pasquali, Walker-Fitton, Kenworthy (Spencer 65), Challinor, Jones, Kettle.
