TONY Miller has continued his rebuilding with the capture of former Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prospect Tom Hodson.
The 21-year-old, who can play at full back or on the wing, has also represented both Yorkshire under 19s and under 20s at rugby union.
He played for the Wildcats reserves for almost two years and has been playing for Wakefield based Sandal RUFC this season.
The Wakefield born youngster said: “I’m really looking forward to challenging myself and stepping up from the reserve grade.
“I predominantly play full back in league but as a former rugby union fly half and scrum half I could adapt to the half back position if required.
“Playing for Doncaster is a great opportunity for me and I will do my best to try and cement my place in a very competitive team.”
Head coach Miller said: “I’m very happy to have Tom at the club, his versatility in the back line could prove to be a real bonus for us next season.
“Tom also has a very good kicking game and is another young, exciting prospect to join the Dons squad.”
