MARATHON man Paul Cooke will today be joined by Dons coach Tony Miller and club conditioner Pete Bell on day six of his gruelling challenge.
Cooke set out on his 180-mile seven marathon in seven days challenge on Wednesday morning and has been overwhelmed with the support he has so far received.
He has currently rasied approximately £2,000 for Hull’s Dove House Hospice who provided first class care for his mum during her illness last year - and today will receive further support from Miller and Bell who will don their running shoes for marathon number six.
Miller said: “Pete and myself will join Paul on Monday and we will give him our full support on what is proving to be a very tough challenge.
“It’s an amazing thing what he’s doing and I know the club’s staff and players are proud of his efforts.
“Paul has passed the half way point and I hope our support will help him along the way.”
