Dons winger David Scott helped Scotland win the European Championship for the first time.
Scott scored a brace of tries in his nation’s 42-18 triumph over Wales.
Scotland also defeated Ireland 25-4 and despite losing to France 22-38 they topped the four-team tournament group.
Victory also saw Scotland secure their place in the 2016 Four Nations along with Australia, England and New Zealand.
“It’s a remarkable achievement. All credit to all the players and staff,” said coach Steve McCormack.
