Dons have exceeded their expectations by reaching the Championship play-offs, according to chief executive Carl Hall.

Tony Miller’s side secured a top eight finish by coming from behind to beat York City Knights 38-20 on Wednesday night.

Doncaster host Sheffield Eagles tomorrow (3pm) in Miller’s final regular league game in charge.

Victory against their local rivals would seal a sixth-place finish - and a home game in the first round of the play-offs.

Sheffield, meanwhile, must rely on Featherstone Rovers slipping up at lowly Hunslet to get their hands on the league leaders shield.

Dons are holding another one day season ticket offer at this weekend’s game to celebrate their success in reaching the play-offs.

Hall said: “We’ve exceeded our expectations in reaching the play-offs and we’d like to extend our season ticket offer for another day at the Sheffield game.

“It also gives the chance for those who were on holiday or unable to make the Swinton game for whatever reason to buy their 2014 season ticket at a cracking price.

“We had a great response a couple of weeks ago and I hope many more of our fans will take us up on this great offer.”

Adults and concessions season tickets are priced £120, while existing Dons4Life members can pay £100. Children’s (5-16’s) season tickets cost £15.

Fans wanting to buy season tickets tomorrow should download a form from the Dons website and take it to box 16. Payment is possible in cash or cheque.
