Tony Miller and his players are targetting a top four finish in Co-operative Championship One.

Doncaster kick off their league schedule at the Keepmoat Stadium against South Wales Scorpions on Sunday (3pm).

And Miller and his men, who defeated spirited amateurs Thatto Heath Crusaders in the Challenge Cup at the weekend, head into the new campaign in optimistic mood.

Miller said: “It’ll be a tough and competitive division this year.

“There’s probably about seven or eight teams who fancy their chances of winning it.

“Workington and Whitehaven will be up there, Swinton have recruited very well and Oldham and Rochdale are always strong.
