DONS star Kyle Kesik has landed a one-match ban for his part in a mass brawl against London Skolars - and the club has been hit with a £1,000 fine.
Kesik was found guilty of a Grade C running in and punching offence as tensions boiled over during the latter stages of Doncaster’s 42-22 win in the capital earlier this month.
He will now be forced to miss Sunday’s Championship One clash with Rochdale Hornets at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Doncaster RLFC have also been fined £1,000, with £250 payable immediately and the remaining amount to be suspended for six months.
The punishment is minimal compared to the action taken against the Skolars, their head coach Joe Mbu and his assistant Oliver Bloom.
Former Dons player Mbu has been handed a six-month touchline ban after he was found guilty of running in from the sidelines and punching - and the same sentence has been dished out to Bloom.
The pair pleaded guilty to the charges and will be suspended for three months with immediate effect, with the remaining three months liable to be suspended pending good behaviour.
Skolars were also fined £2,500, with £500 payable immediately and the remaining amount suspended for six months.
