The Dons have been drawn against amateur side Thatto Heath Crusaders in the third round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
Tony Miller’s men will face the St Helens based club at the Keepmoat Stadium during the first weekend of March.
Thatto Heath are currently second in Division One of the North West Counties Division.
A total of 13 community clubs, the Army and French champions FC Lezignan joined the Championship and Championship One clubs in the hat for today’s third round draw.
Last season Doncaster crashed out of the Challenge Cup in embarrassing fashion when they lost 26-0 at home to amateur club Siddal at the third round stage.
