The Dons have suffered a big blow just one week into the new season after Lee Waterman was ruled out for three to four months with a broken wrist.
The influential centre will miss much of what will prove to be a crunch campaign.
Despite the Waterman blow, confidence is high in the Doncaster camp following last week’s win at Workington.
The Dons will welcome fellow opening day winners Keighley for the first home game of the new season tomorrow and head coach Paul Cooke is expecting a physical encounter.
Cooke said: “They’re a big, strong, physical side so we know we’re in for a tough game. They’re going to be as determined as we are to win again and get off to a great start.
