The issue of which team should feel the most pressure is proving a topical hot potato as the Dons prepare to welcome defending Championship winners Featherstone to the Keepmoat tomorrow.
Dons boss Paul Cooke insists the only pressure on his side is that which they put on themselves to perform.
Cooke said: “There’s no great pressure on us other than the pressure we put on ourselves, and on the flip side there is immense pressure on Featherstone given that they have topped the table for the last four years.”
But opposite number John Bastian insists it will be the Dons feeling the heat on home turf following their strong start.
Bastian said: “They have started the season particularly well.
“They’re a very good side and, on their home ground, they will probably be slight favourites this weekend.
“I’ve been watching some of their games and they look a formidable outfit.”
Liam Cunningham has been ruled out for the Dons with a groin injury.
