Paul Cooke is using the British Army’s own tagline as a message to his players – be the best.
The Dons travel to Aldershot to face the Army’s representative side in tomorrow’s Challenge Cup third round.
And head coach Cooke has warned his players they are obligated to perform.
While refusing to take victory on Sunday as a given, Cooke has one eye on the next two games for his side which pit them against Championship big boys Featherstone and Halifax.
Cooke said: “We’ve got two big, tough games coming up before the end of the month and we know we’re going to have to be at our very best.
“This weekend will give me a chance to rest a few and give some game time to those who haven’t really had it.
“But anyone who plays this weekend is obligated by me to perform at their absolute best and put themselves in consideration for Featherstone.”
