FITNESS fanatics are being urged to make the most of their stamina by joining up with a rapidly growing triathlon club.
The GI Tri Club now boasts more than 60 members but is keen to add more and would welcome those wanting to get fit and aspiring athletes alike.
Qualified coach Paul Caunce who runs the club – based at St James Leisure Centre in the town centre – said: “As a group we’re growing all the time.
“But what makes us special is that we take non-swimmers and people of all fitness levels and our expert coaches help people train for a suitable triathlon.
“We have an even divide of male and female members, from novices to experienced triathletes.”
Sessions are run every Thursday from 7-8pm with prices starting at £4 and the first session free.
