WILLIAM Hill Spring Mile hero Eton Forever could make a quick re-appearance in the Listed Fergusson Coal Doncaster Mile at Town Moor on Saturday (6.15).
The four-year-old, trained by Roger Varian at Newmarket, is among a quality entry for the feature race at Doncaster’s first evening fixture of the new season.
Also likely to run is last season’s Bunbury Cup winner St Moritz, who repaid some of his £100,000 price tag when scoring on his debut for trainer Dandy Nicholls at Ripon last week.
Clive Cox’s classy eight-year-old Dunelight, winner of a Listed race at Wolverhampton on his return to action last month, is another possible contender in the £30,000 added contest.
Two-year-olds are in action in the crownhotel-bawtry.com Maiden Stakes (5.10), when Ripon second Alejandro and dual runner-up One Kool Dude, from the Richard Fahey camp, stand out among the acceptors.
Fahey, who saddled three winners at the previous Town Moor fixture, also has claims in The Wanted Live At Doncaster Racecourse 14th May Handicap (7.20) with Changing The Guard, who found only one too good at Pontefract last week.
The card gets started at 4.35 with the AJA Lady Riders’ Handicap over seven furlongs - a race that has been targeted by in-form Yorkshire trainers John Quinn, Tim Easterby and Dandy Nicholls.
