GOLDEN oldies Gordon Lucas and Harry Sargent have laid down a gauntlet to table tennis players across Doncaster: “Come and play us if you think you’re old enough!”

The ping pong pair recently teamed up for YMCA to win a Division One doubles clash against Hexthorpe Methodists - at the combined age of 159!

Their comfortable 3-1 victory is thought to have smashed the record for the oldest winning doubles pair in the history of Doncaster & District Table Tennis Association - and could even be a national record.
