Jet-skier Harry Rickaby has got his older brother Brad in his sights after winning his second British title.
The 22-year-old, from Hatfield, raced to victory in the IJSBA Rec Lites section of the British Championships.
Victory represents a successful step up from novice to expert class for the electrical design engineer.
His brother Brad started riding professionally for Budapest-based Kasza Racing last year after winning several national and international titles.
“I want to keep on improving and hopefully move into the professional or international racing,” said Harry.
“Brad’s obviously gone on to do really well so it’d be great to reach that level and race against him one day.
“I used to go and help him out when I was younger and started racing three years ago. There’s a friendly rivalry between us.”
On his latest British title, Harry added: “I managed to win four out of the six races which was very pleasing.
“It’s been a competitive season. There are quite a few good riders and some powerful jet skis in there, so to win it is definitely the highlight of my career so far.
“This is my second British title and first one in the expert class so it’s been good to make a successful step up.
“The aim is to come back next year and win it again.”
