Kirk Sandall Junior School (pictured) won the Flying High sports hall athletics competition for a fourth successive year to book a place in the South Yorkshire finals.
Year five and six pupils from the school will represent Doncaster at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield next month after blowing away their rivals at the Dome last week.
Kirk Sandall won both the boys and girls events, which saw youngsters from across the town compete in a range of indoor track and field events, to rack up over 300 points and leave the opposition in their wake.
Shaw Wood Primary School took the silver medal with 222 points, while the bronze went to Sheep Dip Lane Primary who scored 184.
The annual event saw schools from across the borough’s Schools Sports Partnership come together to battle it out for the gold medal and a place in the South Yorkshire finals day.
Each school was represented by 10 boys and 10 girls in a series of sprints, relays and field events, including the javelin, speed bounce, vertical jump and the standing long jump.
Pupils from Green Top, Mount Carmel, St Josephs, Askern Spa and Auckley also took part in the event, staffed by School Sports Partnership staff.
Students from McAuley, Balby and Rossington Schools also volunteered their time to support the competition.
Kirk Sandall will represent the town at the EIS finals day on March 28.
