RICHARD Fahey is under starters orders for another record-breaking year as he prepares for the first major handicap of the flat season at Doncaster on Saturday.
And he can’t wait to rediscover that winning feeling at Town Moor this weekend!
Fahey, as I discovered when I met him at his impressive Musley Bank Stables in Malton this week, is a master of positive thinking.
He’s not short of confidence.
He’s big on ambition.
And he’s also Yorkshire’s best bet for scooping the £62,310 first prize on offer for this year’s William Hill Lincoln.
Fahey saddled an incredible 181 winners during the 2010 flat season, a campaign which culminated in his prize asset Wootton Bassett winning the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp on Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe day to give the Irishman his first ever Group One success.
