DEAN Hipwell spun out of the fourth round of the British Supersport Championship at the ultra fast Thruxton circuit.
But not before he added 11 valuable championship points by finishing fifth in the qualifying shoot out race.
The Harworth racer high sided and saw his main race end on lap six when he could not prevent his Yamaha spinning out of control and out of contention.
He came away from the weekend battered and bruised and with a badly gouged hand.
But he also claimed valuable points to leave him 13th in overall Supersport standings.
