Hill House School won the Year 5/6 Summer Athletics Finals at the Doncaster Primary School Games.

Fifteen schools and around 250 pupils took part in the event at the Keepmoat Stadium’s athletics arena, home of Doncaster AC.

Champions Hill House and second-placed Shaw Wood will represent Doncaster at the South Yorkshire School Games Finals next month.

Martin Stirling, Active Fusion School Games Organiser, said: “It was brilliant to see so many children competing to be crowned Doncaster champions.

“Teachers and children had shown great dedication in school to be ready to compete so credit to all staff who had trained them ready for the event,

“The standard is increasing year upon year and we’re looking forward to next year’s competition.”

The South Yorkshire finals will take place on Wednesday, July 5.
