Jessica Rayner came sixth out of 100 gymnasts in her category and will trial for the Yorkshire Elite squad later this month.

Lucy Caulton also finished sixth at British Development Grade 12.

Olivia Morgan came second, while Libby Jackson, Ella Davies, Charlotte Gilbert, Olivia Penk, Daniella Chapman, Leah Oliver, Grace Bradley and Emma Gill also did themselves proud at the national event.

Head coach Jodie Wadsworth said: “The club is going from strength to strength.

“It is amazing how far the gymnasts and the club have come since moving to Rossington.

“Some of the gymnasts we entered in the Grade 14 competition have been doing gymnastics for less than a year.

“These results are from lots and lots of hard work from the gymnasts and coaches and everyone involved with the club,

“As head coach I can’t say thank you enough to everyone who makes Elmfield Gymnastics Club such a lovely place to be.”
