Wroot’s Rachel Brooks has continued her good year after reaching the final of the Finland Masters.
Having already enjoyed success so far in 2015, winning at the Dutch Open and the Yorkshire Classic meetings, Brooks started the weekend in Finland in the blind draw pairs.
Competing with Finish mens player Knox Aaron, the only mixed pairing in the competition won the contest, with Brooks and Aaron claiming a 3-1 win in the final.
In the Finland Open, Brooks felt under the weather and lost on the board final.
On the final day of play Brooks participated in the Finland Masters and made it to the final having defeated top Finnish players Kirsi Vinnikainen and Lumi Silvan. However, despite being favourite in the final, Brooks had to settle for runner-up spot after losing 5-2 to Kaisu Rekinen.
