ROSSINGTON teenager Brandon Walsh bowed out of the UK Open at the second round stage in Bolton last week.
The Hall Cross sixth former’s tournament started in bizarre circumstances when his first round opponent Mensur Suljovic failed to turn up at the Reebok Stadium.
Walsh received a bye into the second round but he was promptly beaten 4-0 by Paul Harvey - ending his hopes of facing one of the game’s leading lights at the third round stage.
The 18-year-old Yorkshire youth team thrower reached the televised tournament, known as the FA Cup of darts, after starring at a qualifying event in Stoke in April.
He will now turn his attention back to the PDC Youth Tour.
