Brae Hill triumphs in Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster

TONY Hamilton mount Brae Hill went one better than a year ago to win the Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster.

Last year's runner up held off the challenge of Mull of Killough in a thrilling finish to seal the win at 25/1.

Brae Hill led into the closing stages but was chased right to the line by Mull of Killough who could not quite close the gap under Shane Kelly.

Favourite Eton Forever finished fifth behind Fury and Edinburgh Knight.

The Lincoln is the traditional opener to the Flat season.
