Among the highlights, the mini Danum Academy defeated Leeds Tigers by 25 points.

The players from this squad will form the basis of Danum’s Under 13 side who will play in National league competition for the first time this season.

Youngsters also took part in a spectacular dunk competition and the Under 18 All Star game got the weekend off to an amazing start as the game was won on a free throw in the dying seconds.

Paul Pashley, academy director, said: “The weekend was a tremendous success.

“Thanks go to the huge number of parents in our community who supported the event and took an active role in volunteering their time.”
