Golf: Wheatley lift Danum Cup

WHEATLEY Golf Club dominated the Danum Cup by lifting both the men’s and women’s trophies, writes John Molloy.

Hosts Doncaster and Town Moor were no match for Wheatley’s men who won their contest by a whopping 32 shots.

The ladies event was a much closer contest but Wheatley again came out on top in their clash against Doncaster and Hickleton.
