THE business end of a brilliant Doncaster and District Junior Sunday League season is upon us but before titles and cups are decided, there is the small matter of selecting who will be crowned the Free Press Team of the Month for March.

Some sides moved themselves into position for an assault on silverware while others demonstrated their undying spirit.

Finningley Harriers

THEy may only have 12 players and have struggled in Division One this season but the Harriers’ determination shines through and they have never missed a fixture.

Woodhouse Panthers

FLYING high at the top of Division One after winning every game, the Panthers could also be set for a silverware double having reached the League Cup final.

Sprotbrough & Cusworth Crusaders

PLAYERS and coaches alike consistently promote an ethos of fair play, teamwork and the sheer enjoyment of the game along with an excellent competitive spirit.

Under 14

Moorends Hornets

THE Hornets continued their title push with four straight wins in March, including a 3-2 win over title rivals Hemsworth Terriers.

Under 15

Wath St James

THE Saints have never let their impeccable conduct slip all season despite a run of just one win in 14 games and are a credit to their club.

Under 16

Rossington Juniors

UNBEATEN so far this season, Rossington look unstoppable in their quest for the Division One title.

Under 17

Armthorpe Rovers

A HIGHLY successful team, Armthorpe capped their stay in the DDJSFL with more silverware as they sealed a Premier Division and League Cup double with flair, ability, determination and talent.
