ON the eve of one of Doncaster’s biggest games for years, Rovers’ destiny remains very much in their own hands...

Victory over Crystal Palace tomorrow would go a long way to ensuring that the club remain in the Championship for a fourth successive season.

But a glance at the remaining fixtures also suggests that Doncaster, out of the five teams still realistically involved in the battle to beat the drop, arguably have the best run-in.

After tomorrow’s six-pointer with the Eagles, Rovers will face three sides not in danger of going down and unlikely to feature in the promotion push.
