Teenager set to start for Belles

BELLES teenager Kasia Lipka will be handed a start in tonight’s historic Women’s Super League opener at Lincoln Ladies.

The 17-year-old midfielder has impressed boss John Buckley during the build-up to WSL and will line up alongside Vicky Exley in the Doncaster engine room.

Kylla Sjoman is expected to switch to left back to accommodate Lipka in a new-look 4-2-3-1 formation.

Precious Hamilton will lead the attack, with Becky Hall and Irish forward Aine O’Gorman starting from wide positions.

Lincoln have invested heavily and are set to hand league debuts to full England internationals Sue Smith, Jess Clarke and Sophie Bradley at Sincil Bank.

Tonight’s match gets underway at 7.45pm - just moments after the opening WSL game between Chelsea and Arsenal (ESPN, 5.30PM) finishes.
