They’re simply the Bess!

Bessacarr Primary School’s Year 3/4 girls football team are better than all the rest after being crowned Doncaster schools’ champions.

As a result of winning the title the team then went onto represent Doncaster in the South Yorkshire Championships, where they finished sixth.

The Ellers Avenue school operates several sporting-themed clubs, including football and street dance, in conjunction with Fit2Play coaching.
